What do you prefer to "small talk"?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 19, 2009:
i think i would prefer to keep small talk going... it gives you an oppurtunity to the "feel" a person and well - to think of how many friendship starts with a small talk... nah! i will not want to replace it....
