The Hungry Ghost Month......

Its the time of the year when i am a lil' scared to walk home alone....the 7th month of the lunar calendar or more known as the hungry ghost month is BACK!!

you simply cant miss this month because during this month almost every corner of the town and along all walkways, you see people burning offerings for the deceased and many neighbourhoods will host a performance meant to entertain the wandering spirits....

there are many things the "do n donts" that i learnt abt respecting this month... take for example i was told the front seats during the performance are usually left vacant because its meant for the spirits... now it may seem interesting but to me ... it left me feeling spooked ....

since the activities during this month is almost hard to miss even for the uninitiated,  almost every night, as i walk back i cant help to wonder if there are such things.... i mean ghost; spirit and etc etc..

guess ultimately its whether you believe in the existence of "the other world"....and for me its a month where i dig deeper to find some answers about the other world....
